And the answer is ........

I had prepared myself for a long wait for feedback from the meeting as I knew that social workers have a hectic schedule. So I was genuinely surprised when I picked up a voicemail message at the start of the school day from my SW telling me the outcome of the meeting!

They said ............ YES! There are some more hoops that they want us to jump through but the overall decision was to go ahead for a match.

So what does this mean? Well, there are still some legal issues to be resolved but they don't expect any problems in that area and we're going to need God to bless our finances to meet their newly applied criteria but I must say that overall I feel a great sense of peace tinged with a little excitement! Everyone around us are so happy and overjoyed but I think DH and I won't really be settled in our joy until we have our baby safely in our home.

I am expecting a lot of activity over the next few weeks as there are various meetings and things that need to be put in place. In the meantime, we continue to ask for your prayers - we so close and yet fully aware that it's not set in stone yet!
